Gunta is a certified tax consultant with 26 years of experience in providing tax advice to various Latvian and international clients. Gunta is specialized in indirect taxation both in Latvia and in the European Union. 

Gunta has provided tax advice to a variety of industries, including building and construction, real estate transactions, transport and logistics, wholesale, financial transactions, and she has also assisted in optimizing international transaction chains by reducing the clients’ administrative burden etc.

Gunta has been involved in settling tax disputes with the State Revenue Service; she has also defended clients before courts, prepared expert opinions on tax issues, developed methodologies for clients regarding taxation issues, as well as carried out tax reviews, participated in drafting of tax legislation by drawing up proposals for the improvement of tax legislation.
