Ignas has been working in the tax department of KPMG since 2011. He coordinates the projects of company acquisitions, tax risk assessment and tax revisions, the purpose of which is to assess whether tax obligations are properly fulfilled and whether tax declarations comply with Lithuanian laws.
For more than 12 years, Ignas has been advising international and Lithuanian clients on proper taxation of profit, value added and other tax issues, representing clients during tax inspections and investigations. Also prepares and submits inquiries to tax authorities on behalf of clients, represents clients in meetings with the tax administrator in resolving tax issues, submits requests to recover tax overpayments (if tax overpayments/refundable tax amounts occur) on behalf of the client.
Ignas has experience working with various sectors, including finance, real estate, construction, telecommunications, aviation, industrial, wholesale and retail.
