Aurora Marrocco

Aurora joined KPMG in 2006 as a trainee Trade & Customs consultant, rising rapidly through the ranks to become Associate Partner in 2020.
Her focus is on the chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and energy, and luxury goods industries and she assists companies with customs, excise and VAT matters in both pre-litigation procedures, supporting them in their dealings with the customs authorities, and also in litigation before the Italian tax courts. Her areas of expertise include: dutiability of royalties; first sale price application; rejection of customs and excise duty refund claims; anti-dumping disputes; customs and excise strategic planning; ongoing consultancy on customs and excise duty issues.

Aurora has also authored articles published in specialist tax and trade journals and has cooperated in the writing of books and manuals on customs matters.
