Miyanda Siamoongwa

He currently serves as a senior manager within the second line of defence, dedicated to providing practical support to help audit teams consistently deliver high quality audits.  He helps teams deliver high quality audits by performing targeted reviews on the firm’s Public Interest Entities (PIEs), providing coaching and support to address areas identified for improvement.  This includes “live” reviews of audits at every stage, from planning to completion and reporting, identifying ways to improve audit quality.

Miyanda has managed numerous audit and advisory assignments in the Insurance, Funds, Banking and Capitals markets industry. 

Miyanda has completed a major assignment by successfully establishing the Zambian equivalent of the Serious Organised Crime Agency.  He has also led money laundering and other forensic type investigations, including preparing information to support expert witness evidence in the courts of law.
