The KPMG Nordic Ethics and Compliance survey in 2022 included responses from 49 Nordic companies. Most of the respondents agreed that their clients and bank connections has expressed increasing expectations for how the company manages ethics/ESG risks
The current compliance landscape is still characterized by increasing legal and regulatory complexity and international enforcement, as well as growing expectations from stakeholders and society at large as to responsible business conduct and sustainable operations.
Increased external expectations also mean additional requirements in terms of managing compliance systems, efficiency, digital tools, resource allocation, and competence.

Participate in survey 2022:
In this year’s survey we will continue to assess where Nordic companies are on their ethics and compliance journey and analyze trends. What are the key focus areas? How are companies succeeding in operationalizing their compliance programs integrating preventive and detective activities in their operations?
The survey responses will be kept strictly confidential. Like last year, KPMG will issue a common report as well as organize a common Nordic session (webinar) in September where the results will be presented. In addition, you get the opportunity to meet with us to discuss your own results, including benchmarking your company against your industry peers. We know that your time is valuable. The survey should require no more than approx. 10 minutes to complete. Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable inputs!
