Welcome to our first 'Deals in Heels' network event! The network is aimed at women working in M&A, finance and accounting positions - from all experience levels. We at KPMG believe the network is important to support the increasing, but still not enough, number of females working in this sector. We hope that by hosting the network we can inspire women to share insights and support one another when navigating topics regarding diversity and inclusion.
For our first event, we are very happy to have arranged for Anne Kirstine Cramon to present on her recently released book, which has already made bestseller lists, 'Manual for Creating a Bad Vibe'. The book touches upon familiar topics, highlighting that women are generally assessed on more than just their professional contributions; they are often also judged on their appearance, clothing, sexuality and social contributions. We look very much forward to Anne Kirstine's presentation and following discussion to share both positive and negative experiences, and how we can work together to drive change.
The afternoon will commence with a welcome at 17.30, followed by Anne Kirstine Cramon's presentation. Afterward, there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask her questions, followed by general networking, drinks and food until 21.00.
