Michael Kjær Olesen

Michael has 10+ years of financial compliance experience working with various financial areas in large multinational companies. Michael’s career started at Deloitte working as external IT auditor and adviser, after which he joined the risk and compliance teams of first Vestas and then Arla working with a wide range of financial compliance topics, IT security, governance and program management.

Michael has in-depth experience in running large cross-organisational projects in multinational companies as well as heading IT security governance teams with focus on implementation of IT security governance. Michael specialises in setting up complete control environments ranging from big data analytics, internal and automated controls, robotics process automation (RPA) to machine learning and artificial intelligence, framing these within the business requirements and securing effective organisational implementation.

Michael has a strong compliance background with a unique experience combination of designing and implementing both business and IT controls, giving Michael an advantage in creating, implementing and applying seamless integration of IT and business best practices.
