KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft is moving into its new office in Berlin today: the "Einz" Tower in Europacity. Together with the company's two existing offices in the immediate vicinity, the high-rise building forms the new KPMG campus. After a planning and construction period of almost ten years, it offers a total of around 37,000 square metres of office space for the company's approximately 2,500 employees, who previously worked decentrally at six locations in the capital.

At around 84 metres, the high-rise building on Europaplatz is an eye-catcher. It offers ideal conditions for modern working: Premises that enable both concentrated work and agile forms of collaboration, state-of-the-art technological equipment, high-quality catering facilities and a fitness studio. The branch also fulfils high standards in terms of sustainability. The building is optimised for energy- and resource-saving operation and is very well connected to local and long-distance public transport thanks to its close proximity to Berlin's main railway station.

Sustainability already played a key role in the design and construction phase, as Martin Löcker, Group Head of Development at building owner and developer CA Immo, explains: "CA Immo only develops certified 'green buildings'. With our future-proof buildings, we want to create added value for tenants through sustainability and fulfil their needs. To this end, CA Immo is also continuously optimising its entire international building stock. We are very proud to have found a business partner in KPMG, for whom we have now developed the third office building at this location and who shares our vision of sustainable office buildings."

The Berlin office is one of many newly designed KPMG locations in Germany. The company recently strengthened its regional presence with new offices in Hamburg, Munich, Bielefeld and Mannheim, among others. The change of location in Berlin will be followed by Cologne next year. KPMG is present at 27 locations in Germany, both inside and outside of urban centres.
