Acquisition expands KPMG's IT service offering across the entire value chain

KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft acquires QuadriO Beratungsgesellschaft mbH ("QuadriO"), based in Dresden, and thus further expands its technology expertise. QuadriO, founded in 2011, specialises in SAP-based solutions and services, particularly for banks, and employs over 70 people.
With the experienced team from QuadriO, we are strengthening our SAP competencies and expanding our range of services, especially in the area of IT implementation and IT operations. We can thus offer our customers end-to-end solutions and also implement large SAP transformations from a single source. In addition, the acquisition strengthens our market position in the area of development banks.
QuadriO's customers are primarily major, regional and development banks, as well as companies in selected other sectors. At its three locations in Dresden, Berlin and Mannheim, the company offers support in the development and implementation of IT solutions as well as innovation and transformation consulting. In the course of the takeover, KPMG is bundling its SAP consulting specifically for financial services in a separate business unit, which will be headed by Thomas Istel, Partner Financial Services at KPMG.
