The European Parliament has agreed to postpone the application of the CSRD sustainability reporting and due diligence legislation proposed by the European Commission as part of the first EU omnibus package. In addition, the Platform on Sustainable Finance has published a report containing a set of evidence-based recommendations on how to adapt the climate and environmental law act of taxonomy reporting and improve its effectiveness. We will also inform you about the finalised FAQs on the EU taxonomy following their publication by the EU Commission.
In addition, the German Accounting Standards Committee (GASC) has adopted the application note on GAS 20 (GASC AH 5). Last but not least, we provide you with the core content of the IFRIC Update March 2025.
