Karlheinz Antesberger

I have been working in the Advisory division at KPMG since 1998 and have been Director of IT Compliance at the Munich office since 2010. In the course of my work, I have supported various IT projects and advise medium-sized companies as well as national and international corporations. In addition to auditing IT organisations, ERP systems, IT processes and IT controls, I have extensive experience in the quality-assuring support of system conversions, in the implementation of ICS/continuous controls monitoring systems and in the provision of attestation services. Projects in the field of electronic archiving are a major focus of my activities. Together with our clients, I develop strategies and solutions to ensure efficient and proper archiving of documents and data. In addition, I certify the proper archiving of existing systems and processes. Together with a service provider, I have developed a methodology to archive large amounts of data and systems, e.g. against the background of a system shutdown.
