Sophie leads KPMG’s Circular Economy services. She is passionate about improving sustainability outcomes and igniting forward focused circular business growth.

Working with clients across the public and private sector, Sophie helps to co-develop and deploy circular strategies, utilise the principles of circularity to achieve net zero ambitions and enhance productivity and profitability, reduce resource costs, and catalyse circular innovation.

Sophie is an environmental thought leader, having delivered talks at the World Bank / IMF Spring Meetings, United Nations and her work has been featured by National Geographic in a documentary series.

Prior to joining KPMG, Sophie held an extended Fulbright Fellowship (sponsored by the United States Department of State) on Water Security in the Lake Chad Basin and was the Environment and Sustainability Lead for Global Citizen, where she worked on various sustainability engagements across the USA, Norway, the Philippines and sub-Saharan Africa.

Outside of KPMG, Sophie is typically found on the water: sailing, surfing, snorkling or kayaking.

Nick has led KPMG’s Western Australian Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice for more than 13 years, providing sustainability consulting services in areas including sustainability strategy, reporting, climate risk, net zero pathways, decarbonisation and processes governing environmental, social, health and safety risk

Nick is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and is accredited as a greenhouse gas auditor in both Australia and Singapore.

Prior to joining KPMG, Nick worked for over 20 years in industry in the UK and Australia in a range of chemicals and fertiliser manufacturing and international business development roles.  These roles included management of large scale hydrogen and ammonia manufacturing facilities.

Chompan Kulnides is Chief Sustainability Officer at Minor International PCL. She is responsible for developing and driving Minor International’s sustainability strategy, long-term goals, practices, and reporting, in alignment with business strategy, stakeholders’ needs, the UN SDG’s.

Prior to joining Minor in 2005, Chompan worked as a management consultant for Accenture and Kearney. At Minor, she worked in investment and finance functions for the Hotel and Lifestyle groups, and chairman’s office, before taking a role in sustainability.

Jose “Joey” Uy III is Head of Corporate Affairs of Nestlé Philippines, Inc., leading the company’s Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability Group, after having held the position of Business Executive Officer of Lifestyle Beverages and Confectionery.

Mr. Uy is concurrently a Member of the Board, Corporate Secretary, and Chair of the Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Committee of the Philippine Chamber of Food Manufacturers, Inc., the principal organization representing the country’s manufacturers and distributors of food products.

He joined Nestlé in 1990 starting in sales, then transferring to marketing where he has contributed to various Nestlé brands in Dairy, Petcare, Food, Cereals, Confectionery, Ready-to-Drink and Dairy Culinary, as well as MILO and NESTEA. He was expatriated to Switzerland in 2001 as Marketing Advisor for the Petcare Strategic Business Unit, transferring to Indochina in 2003 as Commercial Manager for Petcare. He continued in a key role in Petcare while physically located in the Philippines as of July 2004. He first joined Nestlé Philippines’ NIMCom (Nestlé in the Market Committee) in 2005 as Business Executive Manager for Food and Culinary Milks.

He brings 33 years of management and leadership experience to Corporate Affairs where he heads stakeholder relations and initiatives in creating shared value for Filipinos and their families, communities, and the planet.

Dr. Yasmin holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology and a PhD in Sustainability Science from Universiti Malaya.

Dr. Yasmin brings with her over two decades of experience, with a career spanning multiple NGOs, including WWF and MENGO. Her diverse roles encompassed environmental management, community development, establishing strategic partnerships for sustainability, and social responsibility. Most recently, she served as the Sustainability Director for Lendlease Malaysia. Dr. Yasmin's professional journey has been marked by an unwavering commitment to sustainability, evident in her founding of EcoKnights in 2005. Her dedication to environmental and societal well-being mirrors our organisation's values and aspirations.
