As the Chief Risk Officer for KPMG Australia, Paul is responsible for managing risk matters as well as the broader commercial and business risks associated with the Firm’s growth strategy.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Risk Officer, Paul led KPMG’s National Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare Industry Group for more than 6 years. He has over 30 years’ experience advising government and industry on a broad range of economic, social, environmental and infrastructure policy and service delivery issues, as well as strategic reform and governance across the public purpose economy.

Before joining KPMG in 2011, Paul held Director General, CEO and Deputy Director General roles across central agencies including Premier and Cabinet and economic development and innovation, infrastructure, planning, local government and transport portfolios.

He has held various leadership roles in transport and infrastructure in local governments in Queensland and Western Australia and with an ASX50 infrastructure owner and operator.
