Supply Chain/Operations Director

Our client is a globally renowned international health and beauty retailer, operating over 16300 stores in 28 countries or regions worldwide.

• Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize the company's end-to-end supply chain/operations functions and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Lead and manage a team of >200 staff across multiple functions, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to drive high performance and continuous improvement.
• Lead and oversee procurement and sourcing activities, working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
• Develop and implement manufacturing and logistics strategies to ensure the company products support the senior management’s strategic initiatives in respect of manufacturing/logistics costs and operational excellence with best practices and process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project management, from product development to launch, while adhering to timelines and budgetary constraints.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulators to facilitate smooth operations and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

• Degree holder in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or other related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of supply chain and operations management working experience, in which at least 12 years at managerial level.
• Extensive experience in food and beverage manufacturing industry and familiar with FMCG industry operations.
• Proven experience in driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements.
• Strategic thinking and strong commercial acumen.
• Strong leadership skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to work independently & multi-task.
• Energetic, well-organized, detail-minded, strong sense of responsibility.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin.
• PC knowledge in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint and Chinese Processing.
