Associate / AVP – IT Department

Our client is Chinese Investment Bank.

• Participate in daily operations of infrastructure team especially on securities application infrastructure and global network connectivity;
• Pro-actively monitor and review infrastructure performance and provide performance statistics and reports;
• Perform configuration, system activities check, health monitoring and troubleshooting of security and network infrastructure.
• Assist in negotiation with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific products and services;
• Assist in keep tracking IT assets with proper inventory control on record keeping, maintenance and related documentation;
• Provide day-to-day support on infrastructure areas; support work involving hardware, software and end-user support;
• Plan and install security patches/upgrades if necessary.
• Prepare documentation, operation manual and daily routing job document update.
• Monitor and troubleshoot all network devices to ensure the security measures are effectively applied and maintained.
• Maintain high network availability and ensure all network equipment works properly.
• The post required to work on shift basis and in non-office hour with remote support

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience on network implementation and operations
• Have an in-depth understanding of IT infrastructure solution concepts such as DNS, network LAN/WAN, routing, VPN, wireless, firewall, load balancer, IDS/IPS, and Cloud.
• Knowledge in Layer 2 & 3 protocols including VLAN, STP, EIGRP, OSPF, etc.
• Strong knowledge and experience on various vendor products, such as Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet and PaloAlto, etc.
• A holder of professional certifications CCNA/CCNP is preferred.
• Experience in monitoring tools such as SolarWinds is a plus.
• Good analytical and problems solving skills with strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
