Asset Recovery Manager (Credit Risk)

Our client is a well known Chinese bank.

• Special/Distressed Asset Recovery
• Credit Risk Management
• Non-performing loans (NPLs)

• Assist Team Head in formulating and performing daily execution of collection strategies on delinquent secured and unsecured loan products
• Participate in corporate accounts restructuring meetings to negotiate best terms for the Bank
• Prepare credit proposals and reports for management’s review/approval
• Review loan documentation for restructuring
• Handle debt recovery for the designated accounts through cash/ assets recovery, debt restructuring and security enforcement
• Sustain good working relationship with key stakeholders to enhance recoverability of problem loans, including but not limiting to clients, solicitors and outside collection agents etc.

• Degree holder, preferably in law, banking or accounting
• Relevant certificates such as Certified Credit Risk Management Professional (under ECF-CRM) preferred, Professional Qualification of Certified Credit Risk Management Professional (Credit Portfolio Management) (CCRP(CPM))
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in bank, credit or related field
• Knowledge of litigation process in HKSAR with focus on collaterals repossession with solid experience on customer interview
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements such as relevant ordinances and supervisory guidelines, such as IFRS 9
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
