Head of Accounting

Our client is a property developer with businesses in real estate, hospitality and other investment.

• Responsible for all-rounded financial and accounting functions including financial and management reporting, statutory reporting, budgeting, cash flow and internal control
• Ensure that accounting, financial and operational information/analysis are prepared in a timely and insightful manner
• Review existing financial systems, processes and procedures and oversee implementation of necessary changes to ensure standardization and best practice on business decision support and governance.
• Formulate business strategies and drive business growth in expanding business units
• Oversee the overall financial performance and position of the group as well as changes that may have impacted the business
• Assess key finance management resources within operating companies and recommend appropriate interventions in line with future business requirements
• Perform risk management by analysing the company’s liabilities and investments
• Maintain a professional relationship with internal and external parties such as auditors, lawyers and bankers

• A bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting with CPA qualification
• At least 15 years of proven experience in finance management. Recent position must be at Department Head Level
• Previous experience in real estate sector is required
• Detailed and proactive work approach with strong business sense
• People leader to lead team for process improvement
• Strong leadership and communication skills, possessing good strategic vision and planning ability
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
