The Client

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Operations Manager for our well-established Chinese family office based in Hong Kong.


This role requires a strong understanding of Hong Kong regulations and the ability to navigate the intricacies of PRC culture.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and operations management.

Responsibilities include financial planning, reporting, cash flow management, office administration, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.



  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support investment decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with Hong Kong accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Oversee cash flow management and investment strategies.


  • Manage office administration, including leasing, maintenance, supplies, and equipment.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure efficient operations.
  • Implement and maintain systems and processes for record keeping.
  • Coordinate procurement processes and negotiate contracts.
  • Develop operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and internal policies.


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, and operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, investment evaluation, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with office administration and operational management.
  • Excellent leadership abilities and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Ability to navigate Hong Kong regulations and understand PRC culture.
