Our client is a leading asset management company that recently acquired a prominent magazine company. They are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join their HK team and oversee the financial operations of our magazine business. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic organization in the media industry. 

As the Finance Manager for our magazine company, you will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, ensuring financial health, and optimizing performance. You will work closely with the executive team, providing financial insights and analysis to support key business decisions. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Develop and execute financial strategies and plans to drive the growth and profitability of the magazine company.
• Oversee the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making processes.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational strategies.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure requirements.
• Conduct financial evaluations of potential investments, acquisitions, and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in the media industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in financial analysis software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to manage and motivate a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
