Senior Manager, Employment Law

Our client is a professional services firm with sizable operation.

• Provide counselling on Hong Kong local employment law issues, discrimination and harassment allegations, and terminations.
• Develop and review template offer letters, as well as employment contracts for offices in China, Hong Kong and Macau.
• Participate in the development, implementation and interpretation of company strategy and policy on a variety of People-related subjects.
• Manage the involvement in actual or potential employment litigation
• Advise on non-compete and similar agreements to which our experienced hires.
• Draft and negotiate agreements with independent contractors, and work with HR on various issues including appropriate classification of third party service providers.
• Liaise with the outside employment counsel locally.

• At least 8 years’ PQE with top law firm or multi-national corporations.
• Solid knowledge and experience on labour arbitration practice in Hong Kong is necessary, whilst experience in the Mainland China is highly preferred.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Ability to work independently; Impeccable business judgment and ethics.
