Team Head of Credit Assessment

Our client is a Chinese Corporate bank with established business in Hong Kong.

• Assist the department head to supervise a team of credit officers to perform credit assessment and approval functions.
• Review credit applications from corporate borrowers and non-bank financial institution borrowers to identify potential credit risks and suggest measures to mitigate the risks and ensure the bank’s credit policies and guidelines and regulatory requirements are strictly followed.
• Act as a member to attend Credit Review Committee meeting to discuss credit applications.
• Participate in the formulation and review of credit risk policies, guidelines and SOPs.
• Work with Relationship Managers to perform due diligence, including site visits and structure credit package.
• Prepare credit risk reports for the headquarter and/or the senior management in a timely manner.
• Handle other ad-hoc projects assigned by Department Head

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, banking or other business-related disciplines
• At least 10 years relevant experience
• Strong analytical and detailed mind and self-motivated
• Able to work under pressure
• Proficiency in Putonghua and Chinese input method
