Rupert is the Head of KPMG’s Managed Services business in China, delivering large scale, technology enabled, solutions to clients in the region. He works closely with our subject matter experts in, for example, AML and Tax and has a team of over 600 professionals, mostly providing solutions in the CDD/KYC remediation space. Prior to his current role, Rupert spent over 20 years in Asia working across numerous industries mostly advising financial institutions, private equity and corporate investors in cross-border M&A. In particular, he lead engagement teams advising on many ‘landmark’ and complex multi-jurisdictional transactions, including China inbound and outbound investments. He has also provided expert determinations in relation to Sale and Purchase Agreement disputes.
