      About the Award

Biodiversity is the cornerstone of ecosystem health and sustainability, and is indispensable for the survival and development of humanity. The “China's National Biodiversity Conservation Strategy and Action Plan (2023-2030)” released by Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China and approved by The State Council of the People’s Republic of China in 2024 fully demonstrates the significance that the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council have attached to conserving our biodiversity.

In particular, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area not only embodies the vision of building a world-class city cluster and an international centre for science and technology innovation, but also shoulders the responsibility of demonstrating and promoting green and low-carbon transformation and biodiversity conservation.

The “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area ESG Biodiversity Corporate Recognition Award”. Through recognising outstanding enterprises in biodiversity conservation, the Award aims to leverage the influence of these pioneers to establish an industry benchmark, thereby encouraging more enterprises to join forces in promoting ecological and environmental protection in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and even across the nation!

      Eligibility Criteria
