As a Deal Advisory Partner at KPMG Switzerland, Johannes leads a dedicated team of valuation and modelling professionals in Switzerland and heads a global division that comprises over 1,500 KPMG professionals across more than 50 countries.
Johannes deals with a wide range of complex commercial valuations of businesses and intangible assets in the context of M&A transactions and joint ventures, for financing and restructuring and also acts as a subject matter expert in domestic and international dispute resolutions. He regularly provides fairness opinions as well as independent investment and transactional advice. Valuations for financial reporting (IFRS and US GAAP) and for international tax planning is also a key area of his expertise.
Johannes leads both domestic and cross-border engagements for a variety of clients in different industries. After three years of experience in IT consulting he joined KPMG Corporate Finance in Munich in 2001, spent two years with KPMG’s Valuation Services practice in New York and, since 2008, is based in Zurich.
