Dinkar Gupta

Dinkar Gupta is the Chief Information & Technology Officer and a member of the KPMG Swiss Executive Team.

As an executive leader, Dinkar plays the dual role of CIO & CTO for KPMG Switzerland. He is transforming KPMG’s IT to be a strategic differentiator as we evolve our digital business offerings in areas of Audit, Tax & Legal, Financial Services and Strategic Advisory. As the executive owner of digital business technology offerings, he partners with our business line leadership to elevate KPMG’s service portfolio quality for our clients. To achieve this, Dinkar focuses on technology modernization, talent revamp, emerging technology-based innovation, transformational advisory and solutions in collaboration with our alliance partners.

Before joining KPMG in November 2021, Dinkar worked for a fortune 200 technology consulting and services firm for 17 years, most recently in the role of regional CTO for the Europe & UKI region, driving strategic change, enterprise architecture, technology, innovation and fintech partnership in the region while serving both regional and global clients.

During a career spanning some 24 years, he has worked within different industries, including professional services, automotive, pharmaceutical, resources, communications and technology. Transformational business systems for global financial services industry have been his focus for last 17 years. He has been actively involved with the European region and Swiss market since 2004 and has deep insights into market demands, regulatory context and client expectations.

Dinkar is an industry-recognized expert on technology leadership, strategic change and transformation program delivery, enterprise architecture, distributed system design, cloud technology, platforms, Enterprise DevOps and systems thinking. An active engineer and architect in the cloud ecosystem, he is also a frequent speaker and panelist at industry events and has published thought leadership on different platforms in the past.

Dinkar has been an active member of Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN), ACM, INUNITA (DE&I network), Systems Innovation network and other industry forums. He also acts as advisor and coach to startup executive teams, CTOs and CIOs in emerging markets.
