Nirmal is a Director at KPMG and has been working as corporate tax advisor for more than 15 years, specializing in international taxation.
He has extensive experience in business tax compliance and related matters including tax audits and litigation, as well as domestic and international tax advisory work that involves planning group reorganizations, negotiating tax rulings and managing multidisciplinary projects. With a focus on the evolving international tax landscape, he assists tax functions in structuring sustainable and efficient operating models.
He has developed a strong expertise in the multiple aspects of the OECD Global Minimum Tax – BEPS Pillar Two. He assists multinational enterprises navigate the complexities of the rules, ensuring and optimizing their reporting readiness and assisting them with their Swiss and international compliance obligations.
As part of KPMG Switzerland’s International Corporate Tax team, Nirmal advises companies in various industries, with a special focus on the commodity trading sector. He accompanies commodity traders of all types and sizes through a multidisciplinary approach.
Nirmal is a member of EXPERTSuisse and of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
