Wendy Yang

Wendy is a Partner in KPMG’s Real Estate Audit practice. With over 13 years of experience serving in the assurance practice, she has a robust understanding of the private lending and real estate industry, as well as IFRS and ASPE accounting measurement and disclosure requirements for mortgage investments and real estate assets. 

Aside from her accounting credentials as a holder of the Canadian CPA, CA, with an MA in accounting, she is also pursuing her Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation, which allows her to provide unique and valuable insights. She has completed all technical exams leading up to the final Membership Qualification Exam (MQE).  The knowledge in valuations is value-adding to her audits as she is able to generate meaningful discussion points on the proper valuation of mortgage assets, financial instruments, and real estate assets.

In addition, Wendy also serves as a Real Estate ESG leader and is knowledgeable on the latest ESG and sustainability legislative and reporting requirements.
