Daniel Yee

Daniel is a Tax Partner in our Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice and has over 14 years of experience, with a particular focus on Canadian Corporate Taxation. Daniel has spent a large portion of his career advising clients on a variety of Canadian corporate tax matters. These include but are not limited to, reorganizations, providing structuring advice on international expansion, assisting clients in evaluating M&A opportunities with due diligence services, and providing tax structuring advice on efficient integration of acquired businesses. Additionally, he has extensive experience with tax accounting matters under IFRS and US GAAP.

Daniel’s experience also includes the tax provision audit of both large public companies and smaller private companies. In addition, he has extensive experience with tax compliance assignments and managing larger compliance projects. He has assisted clients in evaluating M&A opportunities with due diligence services and provided tax structuring advice and divestiture planning on the sale of businesses.

Daniel also leads campus recruitment for GTA Tax, where he oversees the hiring of talented young professionals into KPMG.
