Mirella is a Partner with KPMG’s Canadian Corporate Tax practice in Toronto, servicing clients in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications industry. Mirella is a long standing member of KPMG's Global Compliance Management Services Network, and a leader for the Canadian service line.

Mirella has over 18 years of experience specializing in the software and technology industries.  She has extensive experience of US GAAP, IFRS and ASPE having worked with private companies as well as international public companies that are listed in both Canada and the United States.

Her experience includes the tax provision audit of both large public companies and smaller private companies. In addition, she has extensive experience delivering larger and complex compliance projects both locally and internationally. She has assisted several technology companies in the reorganization of both their Canadian and international operations, M&A transactions, tax due diligence, structuring and founder divestiture planning.

A tax technology champion, Mirella works with KPMG’s Tax Transformation and Technology practice in assisting clients to optimize their tax function with tax technology, including tax provision automation.
