As a trusted advisor to a diverse range of clients including medium-to-large sized Canadian multinationals, institutional investors, and pension funds, Shaira has significant experience in Canadian corporate and international tax matters, including the structuring of mergers and acquisitions, as well as reorganizations and financings.
Shaira has been nominated multiple times in the Best Lawyers: One to Watch category for Tax Law, in 2022 and 2024, and has published numerous papers for various publications and conferences, including the Canadian Tax Foundation and the International Fiscal Association.
