Jonathan is a Partner in KPMG Canada’s Enterprise practice in Toronto with more than 19 years of professional experience in accounting and auditing, taxation, operational analysis and financial management. His clients include the breadth and depth of the real estate industry including Canadian and U.S. land developers; home builders; seniors’ housing and long-term care facilities; retail, office and industrial property developers and managers; and non-resident owners of Canadian and U.S. real property.
As a trusted business advisor, Jonathan is often called upon to provide guidance on all types of client matters including sales and acquisitions, operational improvement matters and general business advice. He helps his clients manage challenges and the changing landscape, and provides a keen understanding of strategies and business models, regulations and risks, disruptive technology, and new service delivery channels.
Jonathan is actively involved with various industry and community organizations. He is a former Member of the Board of Directors at Lymphoma Canada. He is a frequent speaker at the Markham Board of Trade, a mentor for the Ontario Summer Company Program, and a former Board Member and Treasurer at the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce. He has received the 2017 Markham Board of Trade Young Professional ASPIRE Award and the 2016 Kevin Hearty Award for Community Involvement and Teamwork.
