Raul Fuentes-Gomez

Raul is a Partner in KPMG’s Technology Risk Services (TRS) in Canada. With over 20 years of experience Raul has become a leader in KPMG’s System and Organization Controls (SOC) reporting services.

Raul began his career in financial services as the network and security architect for a national fund in Mexico City. During his tenure in KPMG, Raul has helped numerous clients providing SOC 1, SOC 2 and other attestation reporting services and has provided governance, risk and compliance services, network architecture reviews, cybersecurity audits, and IT infrastructure evaluations across multiple industries, including financial services, insurance, gaming, fintech, SaaS and retail. During the last decade, Raul has focused on assisting clients in their pursuit of SOC 2 reports, emphasizing the importance of key areas such as Security, Availability, Confidentiality, Privacy, and Processing Integrity.
