Andrea Coish

Andrea is a Partner in KPMG’s Advisory Services practice as well as the Office Managing Partner for the Halifax office. She has combined experience with KPMG in risk and management consulting services and is Partner-in-charge of KPMG’s Risk Consulting practice in Atlantic Canada. Andrea’s focus is internal audit, risk, and control advisory. She assists a wide variety of clients from public sector organizations, public companies and private companies with business process re-design to improve efficiency and effectiveness, program reviews, contract compliance, finance function effectiveness, governance and enterprise risk management, transformation program risk assessments, risk advice, regulatory compliance and internal control assessment. Andrea has worked with KPMG clients across Canada and in the US. Andrea is skilled in providing internal audit assistance services to clients, developing and implementing controls and anti-fraud programs, implementing enterprise risk frameworks to assess corporate-wide risks, and providing assurance based advisory services to clients. Andrea provides risk advice to clients to assist them in meeting their strategic objectives and providing value to the organization.
