Michael Baratta

Michael Baratta is an audit partner in the Montreal office. During his career, he carried out numerous engagements for public and private companies, in the food, drink and consumer goods, retail, industrial manufacturing and information technology sectors, where he developed strong relationship skills as a business advisor to senior management and significant experience dealing with Board of Directors. In addition, he has led several audit engagements for Canadian and American public companies. He has considerable experience with Audit IFRS, ASPE, US GAAP, PCAOB, as well as in-depth knowledge of SEC practices in the US and of similar Canadian practices and standards, having collaborated on many registration statements in both countries.
