Gordon is a senior associate in KPMG Law LLP. Prior to joining KPMG Law LLP, Gordon worked for over 35 years in the Department of Justice, where he spent the balance of his career appearing before all levels of courts with jurisdiction over tax matters, including the Supreme Court of Canada where he argued a number of appeals, including 65302 British Columbia, Tsiaprailis and Guindon. Gordon has also represented a number of federal government departments and agencies in two commissions of inquiry, including Policing in Relation to the Blood Tribe.
Gordon is co-author of Tax Court Practice, a vital tool for tax litigation specialists and was recently awarded the Honourable Gerald J. Rip Tax Court of Canada medal for his contributions to the practice of tax litigation in Canada.
