Jameel Ahamed

Jameel is a Partner in KPMG in Canada's Management Consulting practice leading the Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation practice in Vancouver. Jameel works with C-level clients to enable their digital strategies and technology-enabled business transformation initiatives. This includes strategies around current and innovative and emerging technologies, data transition to the cloud, information management and data analytics use case development. With progressive experience in industry and professional services in Canada and the United States, Jameel has built a wealth of experience assisting organizations in building the business cases and delivering anticipated benefits on technology enabled transformation projects. Jameel helps make a difference to his clients by helping them gather and use trusted data and analytics to optimize their business decision making to drive innovation in their core business. His mission is to build world class technology teams and leverage digital technologies to address acute challenges we face in society.

Key challenges that Jameel is working with his clients on are solutions to aging systems and legacy technology debt, leveraging value and managing risks of data proliferation as well as utilizing technology and data to address regulatory, financial, operational and ESG needs. His team is working to ensure clients can meet ever increasing customer and stakeholder expectations by taking a business first approach, customizing solutions for each client based on their needs.

Prior to consulting, Jameel delivered business transformation projects in the consumer business industry. He also has deep experience in the power and utilities, oil and gas, mining, transportation, and public sector space. Jameel is a thought leader in the field of data analytics and digital technology enablement and is an active member in the technology community in Vancouver. He currently sits on the Board of Artificial Intelligence Network of British Columbia (AInBC) and is an active supporter of other technology related associations.
