      Craig Leveridge is a Senior Manager in KPMG Canada’s Accounting Advisory Services practice with over 11 years of experience performing audits and advising companies on complex accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory matters. He specializes in rate-regulated accounting and is a member of KPMG’s technical topic team focused on IFRS 20, Regulatory Assets and Regulatory Liabilities.

      He has worked extensively with power and utilities companies across Canada since 2014, supporting both large and smaller organizations on audit and accounting advisory matters. His experience includes major rate filings, initial public offerings, upgrades to internal control environments, and complex financial reporting matters under both IFRS and US GAAP.

      Craig recently completed a two-year secondment in KPMG Canada’s Department of Professional Practice, where he advised KPMG professionals on complex accounting matters and emerging issues. His areas of focus included rate-regulated accounting, consolidations and joint arrangements, revenue, acquisitions, intangible assets, cloud computing arrangements, combined and carve-out financial statements, provisions, and pensions.

      He provides regular updates and annual training on accounting and regulatory matters to Canadian utilities and industry associations.
