Shez has been an investment banker since 1992 and prior to joining KPMG Canada was previously a Managing Director in the corporate finance practice of KPMG US. As a leader in Corporate Finance, Shez focuses on both sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory services in addition to recapitalizations, minority equity and debt capital raises. Shez advises publicly traded companies and their Boards as well as privately-owned companies, their founders and private equity/venture capital firms.
With a deep background serving middle-market companies, Shez has advised his clients on over 120 public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions representing over $8.0 billion in transaction value. Shez has been a guest speaker at over 50 conferences addressing industry, M&A, IPO and private debt and equity capital market trends as well as valuation issues.
