Chirag Khare is Director and Head of Government & Public Sector Advisory at KPMG Islands Group. With more than 16 years of experience across the public and private sectors, he advises governments and public sector organizations on digital transformation, public financial management, tax administration modernization, data governance, regulatory transformation and technology-enabled service delivery.
Chirag has led complex transformation programmes across the Caribbean, Asia-Pacific and other international markets, helping governments design and implement operating models, digital strategies, regulatory frameworks and large-scale technology solutions. His experience spans the full transformation lifecycle, from strategy and policy development through to business process re-engineering, technology implementation, change management and post-implementation optimization.
He has worked with governments and regulators in The Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Turks and Caicos Islands, Maldives, India and other jurisdictions on initiatives including tax administration reform, public financial management modernization, digital government, data exchange platforms, regulatory supervision, social protection systems and citizen service delivery.
