Gretchen is Head of Banking for KPMG across the Cayman Islands, The Bahamas, and the British Virgin Islands. She oversees the delivery of audit services to the banking industry across these member firms, providing knowledge and support to audit and advisory professionals working in the banking sector.
In addition to her role in banking, Gretchen has worked for over nineteen years in the insurance industry on commercial insurance, captive insurance and reinsurance entities. As a partner in the insurance practice, she coordinates the delivery of audit, actuarial and tax services to the captive insurance industry in the Cayman Islands. Prior to joining KPMG in the Cayman Islands, Gretchen previously worked with KPMG LLP - Kansas City, Missouri, which allowed her to gain significant audit and technical experience with commercial insurance entities.
Gretchen’s responsibilities include firm methodology deployment, technical support and people development. Gretchen leads technical training sessions for the Cayman practice and sub-region and has served as a Quality Peer Reviewer for other KPMG practices. Gretchen has experience with clients that report in accordance with both IFRS and US GAAP.
