KPMG in Bermuda

Minesh is a Director in KPMG in Bermuda’s Financial Services audit practice with over seven years’ experience in the reinsurance industry. Minesh has experience in US GAAP, IFRS and Bermuda statutory financial reporting.

Minesh is the lead audit director on several key engagements of the firm and serves a wide range of clients including: insurers and reinsurers, run-off reinsurers, ILS funds and other collateralized reinsurance vehicles and captive insurance entities.  Minesh has:

  • been the global lead audit senior manager for a large run-off reinsurer;
  • successfully managed global multi-location engagement teams; and
  • experience with valuation of investments, including alternative investments.

In addition, Minesh is a member of the firm’s technical committee that is responsible for monitoring and evaluating current developments in accounting and auditing standards, and industry/regulatory matters, in order to communicate applicable developments and policy to professional staff on a timely basis. Minesh is also a member of the firm’s operating committee.

Prior to joining KPMG in Bermuda’s office in 2013, Minesh gained three years of experience in auditing and accounting in Cape Town, South Africa, where he focused on clients operating in the fund management and tourism industries.
