She has over 20 years experience as an educator in Bermuda Public School System:

  • 5 years science teacher (high & middle school)Instructional Leader of science 3.5 years; 4 years Mentor Teacher ( Bermuda Teacher Induction Program);
  • 10 years experience as a Principal (7 years, Francis Patton Primary School; 2 years T.N.Tatem Middle School & 3 months Clearwater Middle School) – developed and implemented – systemic change management, developed coaching models curriculum integration and execution, facilitated professional development, implemented 2 leadership initiatives: Leader In Me (7 Habits of Highly Effective People) & The Power of One
  • 2 years Adjunct Professor – Mount Saint Vincent University, Bermuda College Campus
