What is the Community of Young Professionals (CoYP)?

The CoYP is a dynamic group of 20 enthusiastic KPMG employees who are passionate about making a positive impact. This community brings together early-career professionals from across the firm to help shape key areas of the KPMG Impact Plan, including Environmental Impact, Social Inclusion, and Collective Wellbeing.

How is the CoYP organized?

To maximize its impact, the CoYP is structured into three dedicated hubs, each with its own mission:

  • Eco & Green Hub:
    Focused on championing environmental sustainability, this hub raises awareness about eco-friendly practices and leads initiatives that encourage both our people and the wider community to take meaningful action for the planet.
  • Unity & Empowerment Hub:
    This hub aims to foster a more inclusive, resilient, and vibrant community by bringing people together, inspiring collective action, and supporting social inclusion.
  • Wellbeing & Growth Hub:
    Dedicated to wellbeing and personal development, this hub provides opportunities for professional growth, promotes physical and mental health, and supports initiatives that benefit both our people and the broader community.

Examples of CoYP initiatives

The CoYP leads and supports a variety of impactful projects, including:

  • Impact Plan Month: A series of events and workshops that encourage employee engagement with KPMG’s sustainability strategy, Our KPMG Impact Plan.
  • Winter Market: An annual event that builds community spirit and raises funds for charitable causes, such as the Warmste Week.
  • Saint-Nicholas Toy Collection: A campaign to collect toys for children in need, organized in partnership with local food banks.
  • YouthStart Collaboration: Supporting underprivileged youth by providing them with entrepreneurial skills and resources.
  • Blood Donation: Regularly organized in collaboration with the Red Cross to support public health.
  • Reusable Office Cup Initiative: Promoting environmental responsibility by distributing sustainable, reusable cups throughout our organization.
