The Insurance Academy is a collaboration between the KPMG network and Laurent Feiner, founder and managing director of DECAVI and journalist with more than a quarter of a century of experience in the insurance sector.

During our webinars, insurance specialists from the KPMG network, DECAVI and renowned experts from the academic and/or business world explain their views on the strategic developments, trends and challenges within the Belgian insurance sector.

The objective of this presentation was to illustrate how current technologies can improve the underwriting process in the insurance sector.

By “improve”, one means an easy and positive purchase experience for client and, for the insurer, a process that will allow him to estimate an accurate premium to cover the underlying risk.

This presentation was not only limited to a review of “technologies” but also how external data can be integrated in this process and the added value that represents the “Artificial Intelligence”.
