Tim Van Baelen

I started my career in 2014 with KPMG Advisory and specialize in cyber response – for example, incident analysis of security events, NIST forensic techniques and root cause analysis – information security management and cyber defense. I lead teams of experts in assessments of technical processes, procedures and technology related to cyber security. In terms of cyber strategy and risk, I have extensive experience in the review of the effectiveness of the design and operation of controls, among other capabilities. Furthermore, I have experience in the field of IT audit and attestation (SOC1 & SOC2) as an information system auditor.
