I started the KPMG Audit Department in Belgium in 1989. I have in-depth knowledge of the banking market. I have gained significant experience during many assignments in financial services including AQR, financial audit, acquisitions, compliance and regulatory reviews. Currently I am the Lead Partner for key audit banking clients, Chairman of KPMG's Board Leadership Center in Belgium (formerly the Audit Committee Institute), and Chairman of the Executive Board of the Institute of accredited auditors for Financial Institutions. I also led KPMG in Belgium’s financial services practice for over 20 years.
