Johan Van de Gaer

I joined KPMG Tax, Legal & Accountancy in 2014, at which time I had gained a combined 10 years' experience as external and in-house VAT Adviser. During my in-house years, I became intrigued by the complex interaction between the theoretical/legislative side of VAT, and the practical implementation in day-to-day business processes and ERP environments. With a track record of theoretical depth and practical acumen, I joined KPMG in Belgium to assist clients in navigating the complexities of integrating Indirect Taxes with ERP, processes, and technology.
