Allianz Insurance Class Action

The registration deadline to participate in any pre-trial settlement has now passed (the deadline was 4pm on 15 July 2024 (AEST)).

If you did not register by 4pm on 15 July 2024 (AEST) and you did not previously opt out of the class action, you may still register your interest in the class action, however, you will not be eligible to claim money if there is a settlement before the trial, unless the Court makes a further order. You may also still be eligible to claim compensation if there is no pre-trial settlement.

Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) and Maurice Blackburn (solicitors for the Plaintiffs) are jointly conducting a class action against Allianz Insurance Limited (Allianz) and Allianz Life Insurance Limited (Allianz Life) in the Supreme Court of Victoria.

A registration notice was sent to eligible group members by email, text and post by order of the Supreme Court of Victoria. The notice was sent by KPMG on behalf of JWS and Maurice Blackburn.
