He is responsible for the seamless integration of operational and financial strategies to support the firm’s ambitious growth objectives. Tony oversees all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis, ensuring that the Consulting division operates within its financial parameters while achieving its strategic goals. Additionally, Tony leads initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall productivity.
As a key adviser to the Consulting division’s National Managing Partner and the Executive leadership team, Tony provides insights and recommendations on financial matters and operational improvements. His ability to bridge the gap between finance and operations is critical in driving KPMG’s Consulting business towards sustained success.
Tony has a distinguished career in finance and operations, spanning over 30 years. Before joining the Consulting division, Tony spent three decades, the last two as a Partner, in KPMG Australia’s Audit Division delivering audit and advisory services specialising in the audit of large, multi-national listed companies in a range of sectors and industries, in particular Energy & Natural Resources, Manufacturing, Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure. He also held several senior leadership operational and finance roles whilst working within the Audit division as the former Partner In Charge of KPMG’s Audit & Assurance Practice in Victoria and the former CFO of the Australian Audit & Assurance Division. These roles were instrumental in Tony developing a deep expertise in financial strategy, operational management, and business transformation.
Tony has significant experience working on Capital Market transactions including M&A, divestments, debt and equity raisings and due diligence support.
