Oliver specialises in the economic analysis of government program and policy initiatives, and major infrastructure projects. He has successfully delivered numerous business cases that have received central agency funding approval, and has extensive experience in the conduct of economic and financial analysis of government initiatives. This includes recent work for Infrastructure Victoria to examine the projected expenditure and revenue impacts associated with the uptake of autonomous and zero emissions vehicles.
Prior to joining KPMG, Oliver worked for Her Majesty’s Treasury (HMT) where he was responsible for writing the UK Government’s primary cost benefit analysis guidelines (i.e. the Green Book), and evaluating government business cases submitted to HMT for funding approval.
